“When we lived in Alaska, I was able to send fresh salmon home to my mother and boys in cans. My canner has helped provide out catch with family. But, the best time I have ever had with my canner was when my granddaughter came to me and asked if I would teach her how to can and use my canner. It was a day filled with good times and memories, passing it on to the next generation. Should I win, it would become hers. Thank you for this opportunity!”
