Wow, what an experience we had at the Mother Earth News Fair, September 16 – 17, 2023, at the Washington County Fair Park & Conference Center. We met so many people who are just as passionate about food preservation as we are!

Visitors got to choose from over 75 expert-led workshops, including three “Back to the Basics: Pressure Canning” seminars, hosted by Sarah Thrush of @peeliesandpetals, and sponsored by All American 1930. The energy at her seminars was exhilarating! Sarah showed how easy it is to pressure can – even for beginners! – and how to stock your pantry with healthy food you can be proud of.

And whether you attended Sarah’s seminars, visited the marketplace, or enjoyed family-friendly activities, you were inspired by the experience. From all the great people we talked to, it didn’t matter whether you were just starting out or had been gardening and preserving food for years – you all believed in the benefits of embracing a healthier, sustainable lifestyle.
